Our Super Lightweight X-BAN® Garments weigh from 20% to 57% less than conventional X-ray protective aprons. Super Lightweight X-BAN®, is a new Synthetic Material with superior weight and X-ray protection characteristics, as well as 8 to 10 times the tensile strength of conventional lead vinyl. The results are the lightest weight garments in the industry, with far superior strength and durability, backed by our Exclusive Lifetime Warranty. Our Vest and Kilt incorporates improved weight distribution and wrap-around protection in a protective garment that's very comfortable to wear. Most of the apron's weight is removed from the shoulders and transferred to the hips, eliminating unwanted weight stress from the upper back muscles and spinal column, thus increasing comfort during long procedures. Vests include shoulder pads. Male vests include shoulder pads. Male vests include breast pocket. Female Vest and Kilt include pockets. Super Lightweight X-BAN® Lead Equivalent protective Aprons are manufactured using X-BAN® a special synthetic composite protective material that offers up to 8 to 10 times the dimensional strength and durability of lead vinyl. An advanced metallic deposition technique places lead and other materials in suspension, creating a lighter weight optimized protective apron material while averaging a weight improvement that is 30% lighter than conventional lead vinyl aprons.
